Chessel Avenue is a residential service that specialises in providing a service for people with a learning disability and/or mental health need(s) and who may have behaviours that challenge. At Chessel Avenue we are able to provide a specialist service through the use of positive risk management and robust evidence based care planning, to produce a person centred care package. We will develop a bespoke care package that will meet the service user's needs and promote personal choice and independence to ensure people are able to fulfil their maximum potential.
The Staff team at Chessel are committed to ensuring each individual's involvement in their care, from the development of their care plan to the individualised activities programmes, menu planning and recruitment of staff. We promote personal choice and ensure dignity and respect at all times.
Chessel Avenue is a five bedded bungalow converted to the highest specification, we have an enclosed garden where we encourage our service users to grow flowers and vegetables. All our bedrooms are fully furnished, although we actively encourage our service users to personalise their rooms as they wish, we also have full disability enabled en-suite wet rooms in every bedroom.
