Chessel Avenue specialises in providing a service for people that present with risk due to the complexity of their needs, e.g. learning disability with mental health needs and who may or may not have behaviours that challenge.
At Chessel Avenue we are able to provide a specialist service through the use of positive risk management and robust evidence based care planning, to produce a person centred care package. This allows each individual to achieve their maximum potential whilst managing risk.
The Staff Team at Chessel are committed to ensuring each individual's maximum involvement in their care, from the development of their care plan to their individualised activities programme, ensuring that each person's needs and wants are met to the best of our abilities, whilst respecting their personal choices, dignity and respect at all times.
The building at Chessel Avenue is a five bedded bungalow converted to the highest specification. Each bedroom is large with full disability enabled en-suite bathrooms ensuring that people with mobility issues are able to be accommodated too.
